I know none of us thought this day would ever come, but here it is:
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO CONTRIBUTE TO MY DEBUT ALBUM.
The fundraiser ends at midnight tonight, so if you've been meaning to throw some dollars into the pot, PLEASE DO SO TODAY. The length and quality of this record is directly related to the amount of money I have available to spend on it.
Because I'm an idiot, I decided to try and take on the February Album Writing Month challenge, and while I doubt I'll knock out 14 songs this month (what with making an ACTUAL album and whatnot), I have already scratched out 5 songs, and I'm hoping for 3-5 more.
I bring this up because anyone who contributes to the fundraiser (including those who contributed already) will ALSO get a free download of all the songs I finish this month (which I'm terming "the One-Take Bartlet Sessions"), which could also be thought of as an early look at the NEXT record. So maybe that'll sweeten the pot a little.
